Building identity and interior graphic package for nab South Australian headquarters

nab is Australia’s highest ranked financial brand and Woods Bagot are globally renowned architects. Rodeo partnered with both to create a brand identity for nab’s South Australian headquarters, including an interior graphics package across the building’s 11 floors. The project reflected nab’s values of transparency, collaboration, community and wellness while adding warmth and personality to support a flexible, mobile workforce.

Challenge

nab wanted a workplace that reflected its culture, encouraged communication, and inspired creativity. The graphics needed to communicate organisational values, provide wayfinding and create engaging, human-centred touchpoints across diverse environments.

Solution

Based on the theme of “home,” Rodeo developed a layered graphic system that integrated across floors, combining wayfinding with playful, thoughtful messaging. Floor-specific variations, storytelling elements and subtle surprises, like graphics in open kitchens, encouraged interaction and reinforced a sense of belonging and community.

Outcomes

The graphics package transformed the headquarters into a dynamic, engaging environment aligned with nab’s culture. Staff and executives responded enthusiastically, and the project received multiple awards, demonstrating how integrated graphics can enhance connection, communication and long-term value in a corporate space.
